After living for several years in this gorgeous home with a fantastic outdoor space, the homeowners decided that they wanted to totally redo and enhance their outdoor living area. The designer worked very closely with the homeowner to discuss their ideas and collaborate on the design. It was also critical to work around the installation of a new swim spa that the homeowners wanted to incorporate into the space. They wanted the landscape design as a whole to be very clean with a minimalist and modern feel.
The paver patio portion of this design is truly a work of art. The design is bi-level with two separate spaces. Each paver patio area also has its own fire table and the lower-level area also has a water fountain feature to balance out the fire table and provide a soothing sound feature as well. The upper level paver patio is more covered if the sun is blazing and the lower level is more open for those cooler fall nights to gather around the fire table. The steps between levels are also lit with soft, subtle landscape lighting that provides safety for the stairs and also highlights the architectural elements on the paver patio. Everything was topped off with fresh plantings to soften the stone elements and make the project complete.
